Why Your Monday Mindset Matters
Do you need some Monday motivation? Are you tired of hearing everyone complain about how much they hate Mondays?
Here’s something you do not here too often. I LOVE MONDAYS. In fact I enjoy them so much I created a bunch of shirts just for Mondays because I’ve always believed that people should not hate on Mondays.
Yes, I understand it means the end of the weekend but that doesn’t mean that you can’t still enjoy the week.
Is the week really THAT bad that you live your life for the weekends and the fun doesn’t begin until you get out of work or school on Friday?
You realize that is 5 days that you are wasting, moping around and just waiting for the weekend to start?
I don’t see that as an option.
Obviously, a lot of events happen during the weekend, like Sunday football but to just waste 5 days of the week every week waiting for the weekend is stupid.
Monday is a state of mind so if you start the day in a negative mindset and are like, “Awh it’s Monday, time for work or time for school…” then your setting up your week to not be the best it can be because Monday effects the rest of the week, so start your Monday’s by being excited for a new week, not dreading it.
Start the day by taking a deep breathe in and out.
Say “Yes. It’s Monday, the start of a new week and fresh start to do even better than last week because Monday is another day for me to be awesome.”
Remember you can’t do a good job, if your job is all you do.
I love to have fun, no matter what day of the week it is.
Monday’s are an opportunity for you to begin your week right because your life does not get better by chance.
Your life only gets better by change.
The key to life is to truly live it.
And never forget you are all awesome.
